RNG is ruining this game (ATMA QQ post)

[B]snip...... there was "bars" that needs to be filled by killing monsters on the FATEs, lets say, 1.000 kills per map..... snip.

If you read a lot of the posts in other threads, people would prefer "bars" or some notification of progress, it's the randomness/rng of the whole thing that is frustrating. I would quite happily farm 1000 mobs per zone, at least I can see that bar move, and know I'm getting somewhere whilst I'm doing it.
