Catuars too are nerfed still remember pre Yoshi 1.0. They all do 1000 needles. Even those lv10 ones.

Still rememdered that catuar NM that drops Fists of the Ninth sun. It have a ultimate ability called Solar something... which see it jump high up in the air, an blast everyone with the sun's rays.

Yeah, ARR trash mobs are hardly noteworthy. Nothing like OP example, or XI infamous Mandragolas.

Oh man the mandies. Nothing like a whole party carefully pulling (while being on high alert)... that one tiny cute plantling.

I miss dodos aggroing you, but not attacking, so you get stalked by them, find some mobs to kill, AoE and instant dodo vengance, it just wanted a friend.

Goats does that too. They stalk you...then you turn around and stare at them...they lower their heads and start gazing.. (>.....>

Let's not forget the crabs, whenever you came close they would stand on their back limps and brandish their sharp claws in your face as a warning.

They actually had a policy of no survivors left behind, that's why if someone zoned they would camp the zone itself.

I believe that was Cactuar Jack, I also miss those nms.

Its a shame they did away with mob AI and just gave them lackluster patterns and forgettable tp moves. I like smart mobs, as it stands right now they are mostly just a joke, even bosses.
