    Enmity Generation - Blinking Red

    Just to clarify a couple of points in the Enmity Generation post on the main page... I'd like to know:

    * "This icon will appear to the left of the enemy’s HP gauge" - Is this the targeted HP gauge (the one that only appear when you have it targeted)? Or the toggle HP Bar above the mob? If it were the toggle HP Bar then I'm concerned that my camera would have to be positioned in such a way to see it. If not, then no concern.

    * "Blinking red icon" - Can main tanks expect to see this for the most part of a fight? It's obviously something they're striving to see. If so, does the blinking red light become like an annoying thing on the screen?

    * Also, the enmity gauge is for your own character right? So while tanking I can't see the current enmity of the healers for example?

    I think that you only see your own enmity. But to be fair, the healer's enmity is the healer's own problem that he needs to deal with, as any other party member.

    I agree, but it would be nice to rescue an overzealous mage from time to time. Their real punishment for pulling hate can be an attack with my viscous viscous words.

    I dont like it that you get information for everything. I think it goes to far showing the player how much hate he/she generated.

    Well, the positives is the fact that you can do pin point precision mico-managing with it like this. This way you can maximize the DPS, HPS, and Tank Enmity generation for a much more precise fight, and knowing how SE has done boss type of mobs in the past, it will be needed, hopefully.

    Sooner or later there will be a widget that shows everybody's hate generation, which will make it a tad easier for the future THFs to control enmity. (if they put them in ;O)

    This is the first thing that came to mind when I read about the enmity meter. Maybe they should consider something else? Maybe make red=you're on the top of the list, followed by orange>yellow>green?

    I guess they can change it with the feedbacks. We will need to actually wait and see before. If it's not a too bright red and not blinking too fast, I don't think it would be annoying. But we will see ^^

    That was my first thought when I read about the blinking red icon. They could keep the same level of info by adding blue at the bottom and removing the blinking red. I predict that the masses will scream for it to be more like this.

    Needs to be a Green Smily Face, they slowly goes from Green > Yellow > Red, and the face goes from Happy to Angry. And when you finall pull aggro, steam starts shooting out its ears.
