Can someone please explain to me why I cant sign into my pc account on ps4

I recently purchased a copy of Final fantasy 14 for my girlfriend on ps3 and was excited to transfer it to ps4. Well Since we have 2 separate accounts I tried to sign onto my pc log in information just to realize that the square enix id button isnt clickable for me to type in a different square id because I sometimes like to play my character from the console as well. I had no problem with this on my ps3 version. How can I play my pc character on my ps4 version if I have a seperate id that he is attached to?

You have the same on the PS3. Your PSN account get linked to the SE account you choosed for it. After it the SE-ID in the launcher can't be changed anymore.
To be able to login to another SE account you need to create another PSN account (if you and your girlfriend use the same PSN account) and link it to the other SE account.
