PS3-PS4 transfer

It's a new button added to the launcher (where you enter your username/pass, etc.) in the bottom right corner

I forgot to transfer my data before I upgraded my license. I didn't think time travel was possible till now I've bent sent back to August 2013. Connection error 2002 for the last 45 mins I'm sure I'll get to enjoy the ps4 version in a few days. Cuz I'm getting pretty sick of having to log back into the launcher every 30 seconds. Gotta love launch day

I have the same problem on one of my service accounts it says to enter the promo code that came with the game and for me I did and psn took it. Said everything was fine and downloaded the software. Go to launce same issue. Goes to launch the game and keeps giving me the same error. Can play on pc fine. Cannot play on ps4 on one of my service accounts. I opened a ticket with SE and was told they do not work on this sort of problem via email and was asked to call. I called and was told this is not something they can fix over the phone. lol

Is there any way to use more than one account on the PS4, without buying the game yet again? I hope I'm just being stupid and overlooking something. Surely they wouldn't lock it to a single account, that's ridiculous.

Thx Ainiwaffles ( luv the name! ) I did have a different PSN account on my ps4. I started a second user on my ps4 and added the old account.
I'm loading as I type this. Thx again!!! Ya should work for SE. I did not see that you must keep the PSN account you started with anywhere in the SE instructions to upgrade ( good onya mate! )
Nanaya: do what I did. Second user, add your old PSN account to it and save it. You will have two accounts, two users. But it's working for me. Good luck.

That's all good, but if your using a PS Vita with a different account you can't add or change psn on Vita can you? My ps4 account is same as my vita, but ps3 has different psn for ff14.. soo how do I fix? When logging in it says account is linked to a different psn.

A bit off topic but I was wondering: to get the additional items of the PS4 collector's edition version (wind up moogle, fat choco) is the ONLY WAY to register the code directly from within the PS4 menus?
I do own a copy of FFXIV for PS4, but I do not own a PS4 yet (gonna buy it later this year) but I wanted to use the codes already on my account

I see that you played already since 2011
If you have a CE account you get the new CE items automatic
If you have a normal account you can upgrade it in the Mogstation to a CE account.
