PS3-PS4 transfer

Apologies if this has been posted.
Have any of you had success with using the PS3-PS4 transfer button?
I did it about a hour or so ago, did all steps and it said it was saved successfully.
However logged in to the PS4 moments ago, and yes my character is there but my hotbars i had set up along with macros and gear sets are not.
I had it set up so perfectly on PS3
And yes i did transfer to PS4 from moggle station.
I am sort of dissapointed about this
Will remake them if i remember correctly

You need to get on the PS3 launcher screen and on the bottom right there is an option that says PS3 > PS4, that will transfer your hotbar and macros over to the PS4. You will have to select the same option on the PS4 launcher screen to upload your hotbar and macros.

Well see I have it for the PS3, and I know I get a free upgrade to PS4. I can start playing the full game on PS4 now? I just do the upgrade thing and I'm all set?

Some people are having problems with their upgrade codes not working. I know mine doesn't work and SE only gives you a generic response about it.

The upgrade code given from Mog Station will only produce an error if you already have downloaded the FFXIV: ARR software, and thus do not need it.
If you're receiving the error, you already have the software it is trying to download for you. More information can be found here.

Hmm... well when I try to play the software it tells me to input some code. "Cannot launch Final Fantasy XIV: A Real Reborn. Please register the promotion code included with your package or download."

Edit: I wasn't in the PS4 beta but I don't think that should matter based on what I heard.

Yep, that is correct! Upgrading from PS3 to PS4 will grant you early access (which is live right now) and you can continue playing as normal!

If you upgrade it from PS3 version to PS4 version or preordered it.
If not, then you need to wait until the 14th

Hi Maero,

Please give this article on the Lodestone a read and it will explain how you transfer that data over.
(Short answer: That data (hotbars/macros/etc) is saved locally on the PS3 harddrive and must be transferred between systems manually using the new feature built into the launcher!)
