    Limit Break?

    Adding limit breaks would be a selling point. Make cool limit breaks simular to the magic sword abilitys in Final Fantasy Tactics. where the limit breaks do massive damage.

    You would have to do a quest in order to obtain the limit break. Would have to have the TP gauge full and can only do it every hour earth time.

    Most skill visuals are a big deception in my opinion. Particularly for a game with such visuals. FFXIs WS ans SCs effects are still on par with FFXIV which is very very wrong. Final fantasy games always had badass attack visuals. Where was that dropped out !?

    I would pay money to have my black mithra (yes i said mithra.) do some over the top moves like big bang or vulcan blaze from disgaea.

    I would give alot for ws animations to be on par with Tachi: Gekko, right now they are just meh.

    I like the weapon skills as they are. The effects are cool, yet simple and rank-ups feel like a nice upgrade as well. For example, I love Skewer II as it feels like there's more power to it, and that is done without over-exaggerating it. I much rather prefer the effects as they are now, rather than crazy flashy animations cluttering my screen. Imagine that in a larger group of people fighting bosses or something.

    Ability effects needs to be balanced so that they look good in a larger scale setting, not to mention balanced so that they don't cause performance issues.

    I think the reason the WS/spell suck is because the version 1-2 suck i bet Version 3-5+ are awesome. But i don't think it should be like that. I'm more happy having diff Spell/ws as i grow with my class/job then just having version 1-5 of the same attack.

    Tachi: Gekko version 1 level 30
    Tachi: Gekko version 2 level 50
    Tachi: Gekko version 3 level 65

    that would just be lame using the same ws forever just to see it look lil cooler.

    I really hope SE reserved all flashy and cool WS after all these mess fixed. I really miss Limitbreak or other killermoves from offline FF

    just like 11, most ws's didnt start to look cool till after the 50 cap, 50-75 got better looking ws. That's what's happening right now, we're weak, we haven't learned the ability to use strobe lights and smoke effects yet :P

    Before 50 WS and spells on FFXI kinda sucks (in some jobs the nice animations comes at 75). I hope that after lvl 50 WS start to shine.

    I'm definitely for better animations and feedback to the player in general when in battle.

    On the topic of Limit Breaks? Please yes. They don't need to be Limit Breaks per say, but it'd be nice if each class had a desperation skill. FFXI did this in the form of "2 Hour" job abilities. There's room for creativity!
