Atma farming theory

I've had a go with it and got nothing during the listed times, if there is a drop rate boost I can't confirm it. I won't say it's debunked or confirmed to not work however. We'd need a lot more data and for people to actually record their results and control testing etc to really see the pattern. (If there is one) I don't think people care enough to do that.

I've gotten most of my Atma first try off of a Taisai.

I had more luck using MST (my local time) than trying with JST or server time (5 Atmas almost in a row); this ties in with the speculation that FFXIV monitors your local PC time as mentioned before. The original thread regarding this states to use your local time; conveniently the Japanese servers and their local time are the same.

RNG is still most definitely involved.

Interesting, i will guess i need more do a bit more farming to test it out.

I just got on at 1am drunk and farmed till I was done, not much theory with that.

When I read this I only had 2 Atma to go. Was going to go by server time, but when I checked it was the same as my local time lol.

Anyway, got them both within 15~ minutes of their 'specified' times. Probably pure luck but after mindlessly fating for hours just for 1... I am hopeful that this boost is somewhat true.

I can confirm that this is atleast not printed into stone. I have gotten 3 ATMAs within 1h which would mean this system is not be all end all. I can also say I have gotten far more than 4 ATMAs in 12h. I think I got 9 of mine within 12h?

I do however think this is alittle too good to be a coincidence. I think there might be something in it!

Well I dunno what's going on with me, I've tried local time and JST time and no luck at all. It's not fair that everyone else is getting atmas whilst I'm farming day after day after day and getting nothing.

I tried this theory out thought it worked and then noticed it doesn't when i got my next atma out side the time slot it was so supposed to be available.
