No it doesn't. Where would you get such a foolish idea like that?
Bethseda hardly speaks a word to the community once the game is out unless there is a game crippling bug to adress. "There always is" where they say "Sorry" and "It wont happen again" and next time they release the game they repeat the cycle.
"Oh shit corrupt game files?...yeah deal with it for 3 months while we don't work on fixing it."
That's because all they've released are single-player games. Get it? Hur-hur.No it doesn't. Where would you get such a foolish idea like that?

Well, for the record, Bethesda was not the developer of Fallout: New Vegas, Obsidian Entertainment was. You know the ones that royally screwed up KOTOR II, Alpha Protocol and the recent Dungeon Siege III.
I actually like Obsidian, they're not THAT bad. And I know this completely off topic, but I couldn't resist posting this image once you mentioned Obsidian.Well, for the record, Bethesda was not the developer of Fallout: New Vegas, Obsidian Entertainment was. As for the topic in hand. Am I the only one that thinks that the main difference between Bethesda and SE, is the old "West/East" thing? I'm not a Japanese game developer, but I actually picture SE spending more time in debugging and testing than the standard American/European developer. And more in FFXIV given the fact that anything they release will be under heavy fire even if it's the best thing ever.
Yeah I love Obsidian myself. Their games are shock FULL of bugs but their writers are really great. Fallout New Vegas was so much more interesting to me and I loved Neverwinter 2, KOTOR II was such a mess but I even liked that one, again for the story.I actually like Obsidian, they're not THAT bad. While Bethesda do a great job in making a sand-box to play with, it's very empty. Obsidian on the other hand, give life to said sand-box through branching storyline. Oh and it's real branching, not fake decisions like Bioware's. Only CD Project and Obsidian offer true and deep decisions in RPG.
And Bethesda has one thing to learn from Square-Enix (Which they did learn now in making Skyrim): FUGLY character model and clunky animation. It doesn't help when 90% of the people play the game in FPS mode.

The issues with Fallout: New Vegas are still on Bethesdas head though, because it's there utterly horrid "Gamebryo" engine that they have to use. I expect massive bugs in Skyrim as well.
Just looking to pin anything on Bethesda huh. They are not the developers of the Gamebryo engine either. Like dozens of other developers in the past decade its just licensed for use. And while yeah its not the best engine to choose, its also the talent of the development team to make it work properly and look good.
For example, some recent games that come to mind, and also run on the Gamebryo engine are Rift & Divinity II: The Dragon Knight Saga, both of which look and play great.
Also Skyrim is running on an entirely new engine that Bethesda developed themselves, and while that doesn't mean there won't be any bugs, at least they'll know the engine through and through this time. We'll just have to wait and see, but I've rarely played a game in the last decade by any developer that was entirely bug free...
Skyrim will likely be using a heavily modified version of the Gamebryo engine as thats what they were stating prior to fans giving it a massive "Sigh" and they switched to saying they are using a "All new" engine...thats probably the same Gamebryo hybrid they were currently using.Just looking to pin anything on Bethesda huh. I don't care who made it, Bethesda shoved it down our throats with Oblivion and fallout, and pretty much forced Obsidian to use for New Vegas. So yeah I will put all the blame on Bethesda.
"I've never played a game that is bug free"
True, but Oblivion and Fallout were abysmally bug ridden and Bethesda pretty much gave fans the middle finger and just waited for the people to go and fix it themselves. Somethings wrong when you need to modify a game just so it works...
