I can't say I agree with releasing a game full of bugs and "Fixing them" a year down the road.

SE needs to take hints from Bethesda on how to make an RPG.
Also, the bugs in Bethesda's games utterly pale in comparison to the multitude of shit that was present in FFXIV upon release (and FFXIV is an MMO, you would think there were higher standards)
Let the cheerleading begin
My experiance with FFXIV has been much more relaxing when it came to bugs then any bethesda game I've ever played. The opening Scene to Oblivion had more bugs for me the first time I played it then every bug thats directly impacted in FFXIV for the last almost year. Including Beta Bugs.SE needs to take hints from Bethesda on how to make an RPG.

I have to thank Square-Enix for the amazing job they have done recreating Final Fantasy XIV from Scratch. Especially the inclusion of Missing Genders which we petitioned for in good faith. This was proof to us players that the Developers are truly Sympathetic to our requests and that being honest and vocal can pay off with the amazing characters we have who are Female Roegadyn, Male Miqote, and Female Highlanders. Thank You SE, Thank You Community Team, Thank You Yoshi-P.
No it doesn't. Where would you get such a foolish idea like that?
Bethseda hardly speaks a word to the community once the game is out unless there is a game crippling bug to adress. "There always is" where they say "Sorry" and "It wont happen again" and next time they release the game they repeat the cycle.
"Oh shit corrupt game files?...yeah deal with it for 3 months while we don't work on fixing it."
That's because all they've released are single-player games. Get it? Hur-hur.No it doesn't. Where would you get such a foolish idea like that?

Well, for the record, Bethesda was not the developer of Fallout: New Vegas, Obsidian Entertainment was. You know the ones that royally screwed up KOTOR II, Alpha Protocol and the recent Dungeon Siege III.
I actually like Obsidian, they're not THAT bad. And I know this completely off topic, but I couldn't resist posting this image once you mentioned Obsidian.Well, for the record, Bethesda was not the developer of Fallout: New Vegas, Obsidian Entertainment was. As for the topic in hand. Am I the only one that thinks that the main difference between Bethesda and SE, is the old "West/East" thing? I'm not a Japanese game developer, but I actually picture SE spending more time in debugging and testing than the standard American/European developer. And more in FFXIV given the fact that anything they release will be under heavy fire even if it's the best thing ever.
Yeah I love Obsidian myself. Their games are shock FULL of bugs but their writers are really great. Fallout New Vegas was so much more interesting to me and I loved Neverwinter 2, KOTOR II was such a mess but I even liked that one, again for the story.I actually like Obsidian, they're not THAT bad.
