hello again.
i wanted to throw out an idea. a tick box next to each trait in the window. it would allow us to enable or disable the trait.
hello again.
i wanted to throw out an idea. a tick box next to each trait in the window. it would allow us to enable or disable the trait.
Which traits are you referring to?
well... first i DO understand that there are almost no traits that a player would be inclined to disable. like i wouldn't disable a single trait on my WHM.
however... i wouldn't mind the ability to disable the trait "Deep Sleep" on THM/BLM.
i am sure there are other traits that would have some practical benefit, even if only on a per-user basis, from the ability to disable them.
lol. i don't want them engaged. being able to disable the trait would be useful. and much easier then fighting more enemies then necessary. or easier then running away from your objective area and having to come back.
i've only played a few classes or so. but i can imagine there are other traits people could disable for a specific purpose.
How about they make it so the trait only spreads it to opponents you're engaged with?
i don't think that would cater to everyone. as i am sure there are plenty of people who wish to leave their trait just as is.
but i am also sure there are people who wouldn't mind disabling a certain trait or two.
i really can't be the only one who finds a usefulness for such a feature. meh :/
edit like forever in to the future... also this really wouldn't be very good for dungeons. because like you aren't initially engaged with anything that doesn't have special sight. so would it still work on your target despite not being engaged? well i assume it would. but in dungeons you most likely want to sleep the whole mob and not each enemy individually. and most patrols resist sleep.

well i think this idea is still valid. at least for some traits. especially for the Deep Sleep trait. like it would be mostly useful for solo-play, but still useful.
