I want to play diablo 3.
I want to play diablo 3.
I have 8 crafts at 50. All I did was watch T.V. and spam standard for easy mode synths. Enjoy leveling those crafts in 1.19 and beyond everyone!
I want to play Secret of Chrono Trigger Online <.<
Funny, I normally like your posts.Let me guess, another one of those "FF14 IS GRATE BECUZ ITS ALL ORIGINAL AND ALL ORGNIAL STUFF IS GOOOD EVEN IF ITS NOT RELEY FUNCTIONAL" topics?
I'm going to put a lot of miles on this picture: http://i53.tinypic.com/fyk4cp.png
But I never said that FFXIV is the greatest game of all time. Or that it's fully functional as it is right now.
I just think that people want to change this game completely, even at the cost of making the game completely unoriginal.
That the original ideas of FFXIV are not working is another issue. And that's where my part of "Perhaps we have to wait and see...."

no the people that want the game to be taken to wow are the ones that did not like or could not figure out the mechanics that were here. they would rather see it made more boring(see auto-attack) or more standard mmo. they do not want to see time put into the system to get it corrected and would rather have it removed. the funny thing about that is by fixes and making it easier to use would have taken alot less time than it did to create a complete new system and we would have already had the content we all claim to want implemented.Funny, I normally like your posts.

they claim to support the developers, but decided doubling their work load and creating new systems was the route to take.

No, I wouldn't want a car with no air conditioner (I live in Florida), but I do prefer stickshift over automatic.
To answer the op...
I have been here to play FF from the beginning. Not Tera, not WoW. I hate seeing them use so many ideas from other games, but I understand why they kinda have to at this point, It's better than losing the game altogether.
As for "standard"... if the game had been designed well enough without a single of those "standards", it would have hit the ceiling with success, and eveyone would be raving about how "revolutionary" and "groundbreaking" it was.
It's not the "missing standards", it's the missing details. UI, tutorials, Uldah centric storyline, overwelming inventory, Ward design, map features, leve repetiveness... so many things that were not thought completely through. With all the details they put in their consol games, I don't know why either. It seems like SE thought, "hey, it's just an mmo, easy peasy". MMOs need just as much design work, if not more.
I want to play Grand Theft Auto V
I want FFXIV to be a game I want to play. And right now, it really isn't. Whatever they have to change to get it there is fine by me.
Of course anyone here on the forum wants to play. Seriously go out and post this same topic in other MMO discussion boards & non-MMO boards and see what people say. Come back with your answers & tell us how it goes.
I WANT to play Final Fantasy XIV, but I also want it to be a really good game that anyone can fall in love with. It's still buggy, laggy, and lacks a lot of stuff. I'm willing to wait for changes, but can I depend purely on hope for the game's future?
I'm sticking it out for this game, I'm really hoping that it'll get good soon!
