Do you still need to do it once before you can do turn 4?

Just curious. I imagine if you do, someone will probably be unhappy and SE will change it so you don't have to do turn 3.... for any reason. :P

They did take the ADS trash mob out of turn 1 so more people would be able to farm it.... That silly trash gave more people trouble than the actual boss sadly.

I just started doing coil myself with my FC in a static group and we did 1, 2 and skipped right to 4. That was my first time doing any coil so 3 is not required. I'd like to do it for giggles though.

T4 doesn't count for the achievement, being a single round room.

I'm pretty sure he was referring to the tank mounts achievement. There are a number of people who believe they can get it via T3, so they make 8 tank parties and continually run that for the tank mounts.

But you do get a mapping achievement for running T3 through to the end once, so there's that...
