    Duty Finder & World Centers

Hey guys, I've got a couple questions that I have been wondering about but cannot seem to find the answers to. First off, i'm playing from USA but still playing in a JP world center. This is simply because when i switched over from v1.0 I had a good bit of friends still on this server. I'm thinking of joining the bandwagon and switching to a U.S. server which i know will help with boss lag.
But my question is, will this have any effect on joining duty finder groups? I always assumed the duty finder pulled from every server, but i read some place that it pulls from a certain group of servers. And if that's the case then while i am on a JP server playing when most other players may be offline (because of time difference), and that would effect the chances of finding a party.
Second question, have any of you switched from JP to USA and notice a difference as far as less boss lag, and better duty finder times?

When using DF you pull people only from your data center - Chaos, Aether, Primal, Elemental, Mana and Gaia.

I swapped from Mandragora (JP non-legacy) to Balmung (NA legacy)

Duty finder will only pull people from the same data center, so depending on your playtime it would effect your queue time.

I play NA primetime 8PM~until I need to sleep. And the duty finder queues are definitely faster for me even as a DPS. I'm used to having to wait over an hour to get anything if I'm not tank on Mandragora, and most of the queue I get here are under 30mins. However if I try to queue like 6 in the morning during the weekday, the wait is similar to what I get on JP server.

As for boss lag, it was going from 170ms ping to 80~90ms ping. I didn't have problem with it on JP server with 170ms, but I do notice for Titan extreme, I can step out of the aoe circles at like the last minute and not get hit while I had to be much quicker when I was on Mandragora.

However, I been experiencing open-world lag on Balmung, possibly due to higher legacy server population? or the servers in Canada sucks compare to JP ones. Massive lag at Odin where everyone have DCing icon over their heads and sometimes experience delay on crowded areas where too many people are farming atma FATES

Any idea where the 2 NA data centers are located? I am assuming all the servers from the Aether are in one locations, as well as the Primal?

They're all part of one large datacenter, along with the EU datacenter, which is located in Montreal, Quebec, Canada.
