there is one other MMO that does something that could be implemented into FF14, but i doubt they will. i also don't like the implementation in that game completely. its "free" gear basically and I don't like that.
basically you have have a trainer raid, or in this case a trial. the bosses mechanics are the same, but toned down. it would be designed to learn the mechanics of the fight, and then when you know it go do the real thing like a pro. in FF14 terms sort of think of them as guildhests....which were said to teach the basic mechanics of a group and how to act in the holy trinity design of MMO groups.
i honestly wish more games had a guildhest type system. so many bad...well...everything out there that don't understand basic mechanics of games.
hell had a WHM in CT last night not cast protect on the team...the ENTIRE raid. true story.

I was there once, with Titan EX. was ready to give up until I finally had a successful PF. Ironically, Ifrit is far easier than garuda, and Titan's easy because there's only 1 element of RNG. sadly, Garuda is a dps check, titan is forever plagued with lag issues, and you have to beat these two to get to the easiest primal.

Blaming lag anymore is a stupid excuse, Titan Ex's moves are insanely easy to dodge, there is no excuse why anyone can't do that fight unless maybe you're on a PS3 with like bottom of the barrel network.

All it takes is one 5 second lagspike to kill you, and that happens always at the right time (right before Weight of Land).
Got 2 choices: Move prematurely and hope the rest of the team moves opposite way or wait and pray the spike doesn't come.
Yes, I'm on PS3 with severe lagissues, some days I have nothing, other days I have 5-10 second spikes every 25 seconds.
