There has been a rumor floating around that gold eggs from the Easter event have a chance to contain this item. It would be very helpful to get a CM or SE rep. to confirm or refute this rumor.

Below are a list of known/unconfirmed locations for the Coddled Spriggan spawns. I gathered these from other threads as well as a few of my own finding. Looking for any not listed below so I can add them.

All the ones with screenshots beside them I have confirmed. Any without, I'm still looking for and have not confirmed if the coords are accurate.

NOTE: If hunting in a party, only 1 player gets the egg, handed out randomly. I confirmed this as when I killed the spawn in Mor Dhona prior to our raid, a FC mate in Rev's Toll got my egg!

Coddled Spriggan - Level 5 Neutral, drops Silver Eggs (Maybe a small chance to drop Gold for the lucky and Bronze for the unlucky). Tends to link with the higher level mobs around it.

Exchange Rate:

10 Bronze Eggs - 1 Silver Egg
10 Silver Eggs - 1 Gold Egg

Gold eggs have a chance to drop a Spriggan Hat. - Unconfirmed. This information may be false, the hat may not exist in-game. http://xivdb.com/?item/7544/Spriggan-Cap

The chocobo barding is the final reward of the event. This event is multi-tiered, similar to the Lightning Returns event. - Unconfirmed
