Increase in RMT tells :(

Any other servers getting more RMT spamming? Leviathan seems to have an influx of them as of late. Went from crazy to almost none for a while. Then for the last month or so, I end up b-listing around 10-20 a day from a ~4hr play session. Might as well permanently leave myself on a Busy status.

It might help if no one under level 10 could message anyone except friends and FC mates.

Siren is getting worse too. The new tactic it seems for RMT is for two tells back to back. That, coupled with the sudden influx of more of them, I end up logging on and immediately getting flooded with 8-10 tells of nothing but RMT. My blacklist is capping weekly at this point, and it's getting very tiresome.

There should be a filter in your character settings that allows you to block tells from players in certain level ranges.

Really wish they would implement something like that, Alazier. A little unfortunate for new players, but it's not like they wouldn't have communication options like say/shout/etc.

Same on seeing that changed tactic. Occasionally it's the same site being advertised simultaneously, other times it's different ones... which are probably still run by the same people. Today, I encountered a 4x tell spam though. 4 different accounts advertising through /tell at the same time (or within a couple seconds of each other). Dat wall of pink text.

I played the beta last weekend onJenova and didn't get any tells but they were shouting like crazy in the beginning areas.

Just give us an option to choose to filter tells already...

I have absolutely no reason to receive tells from people not in my LS, FC, or party members. I want to be able to completely filter out tells that aren't from those sources.

Can't they file a lawsuit against those sites they have the website listed in their tells.

They can but most of the time the servers for those sites are hosted either by the company themselves and are always in places that really don't give a rats behind about shutting down those types of sites.
