Well, to be fair... this song was in the game way before they added Eternal Bonding and made it a funny musical option. This is after all the 3rd Hatching-Tide event the game's had since launch and this music's been the theme in the previous events as well. I didn't play 1.0 long enough to know if it was also used then, but it might have. Dunno.

It wasn't, though I can't for the life of me remember what song was used.

This should be the first Hatchingtide. Where I'm standing is roughly where The Missing Member is now... More or less. Sorta in between Maelstrom Command and the bar. Directly "behind" the photo (in the direction of the photographer) is where the old Aetheryte plaza used to be. Moving south from that brought you to the Southern Islands which housed the market wards and Maelstrom Command. All instanced.
EDIT: Yeah, this is the first. It took them about a year to nail down where they wanted to put the Limsa event NPCs, so right now we're up a short flight of stairs. Down from that (behind the NPCs) is where the bridge to Maelstrom Command would be now; the event NPCs were set up there in later events.
