You are, of course, assuming that the people who are doing this quest despite the horrible RNG have the opportunity to kill Levi Ex or T5. A lot of the more casual players that I have talked to are still stuck on Titan Ex and do not have a good enough group to T5. Which defaults the atma as their only option.

That part's a little questionable... yes the Fates are once again being utilized, but people are blazing through them so fast that people who were trying to do the Fates for experience at that level range are apparently having a hard time scoring more than a bronze because they can barely get enough hits in before the Fate ends. Seems more like this forced Fate grind was put in place just to keep up appearances that there are "signs of life" for any new PS4 players who'll come in around this time and see all this. I still think it would've been more worthwhile if you could do the Atma grind on any level character so at least the slog would be productive.

"Well, it's no Vana'diel, but it'll have to do..."

I read that thread about low level players having a hard time. Yet none of those that complained where low levels. The only low level I saw in the thread, thought it was actually good. That part's a little questionable... yes the Fates are once again being utilized, but people are blazing through them so fast that people who were trying to do the Fates for experience at that level range are apparently having a hard time scoring more than a bronze because they can barely get enough hits in before the Fate ends.

You are ok in fates if you are there from the start or at least half way. It\\'s only arriving very late that forfeits a gold reward in most cases. I think getting high level players into fates has had an overall very positive change. Previously the majority of areas had no players at all doing fates, and anyone wanting to try one had to do it solo. Some fates are impossible solo and most of them would at least take too long that way. I was pleasantly surprised to find today that even an out of the way cave (spriggan dig) in central shroud had some players down there at the bottom when I was sent there by my hunting log and I was able to complete a fate with them incedentally.

Maybe I should phrase it as these areas have been re-popularised by offering suitable rewards. Player behavior is all rewards based. Areas that were once barren were only so because rewards weren't there for high level players. On that note, it would be good if they offered even more rare drops besides atma, all across eorzea, which will be sought after by even lv50 players.

I like the direction they're taking with the 2.2. It's hard to please everybody with all the content, so I guess they'll alternate stuff between patches until the expansion. I actually loved the patch, I enjoy the FATE grinding because I met nice people, ran FATEs I didn't know they existed and had fun with my mates. The new dungeons are great, specially Lost City of Amdapor, that dungeon is just poetic. Can't wait for the 2.3 patch, the Gold Saucer and the Chocobo Breeding![]()
PS4 launching all need and got a group of a few hundred thousands. Just is will be the matter of the servers ? most 2.2 ok but average to those that just play the game, Then see how much the Global cool down really effects this game. That for last 5 years that the koreans and NA company fixed .
