the problem im seeing with your statement is rare drop games like eq wow ect make rare drops where it has a drop chance of say 0.0001 percent chance where the atmas dont have a drop chance there is no hey it will drop x times out of x number of fates its random that is where the problem comes in not the grind its the possibity of never seeing it drop ever and there will be people who have that problem and those people shouldnt be caught up on a quest for gear progression just cause the dice dont roll in there favor where if they did x number of fates they would check off that zone and move on to the next raid gear is done the same way farm boss x times till piece drops and progress as you gear your team now if we took raid gear and said hey lets make you kill the boss but it may drop gear we dont know when but someday it will people would be pissed and there would be so much qq over it this is no different this is a raid weapon for non raiders
