Community Ignored about Atma?

I think it is nice to finally have something that takes some effort to get. Yes it is lotto, so were NM drops in 11 but once you got them, it was all worth it. Let's stop the whiney entitled baby stuff please. if you dont like it, go get one of the other weapon choices that are available. That's why they gave you CHOICES.

I see this a lot. "If you don't want to grind, get a different weapon". Do people remember what the requirements were for being able to do coil? Would it happen to be acquiring the very same weapon you're trying to upgrade? My question is, what's to stop SE from requiring people to have Animus weapon should they add another raid similar to coil?

There's the argument that upgrading your relic will be an ongoing thing (which I haven't seen solid proof for yet, but completely possible), but it's almost guaranteed that your upgraded relic will always be outclassed by the next big thing, too. My point is, I'm more worried about upgraded relics being required for future content and/or story elements, rather than it ever being a viable usable weapon.

Er, last I checked, you don't have to have a relic to enter first Coil. You need to complete the quest to kill HM Titan, who just conveniently happens to be the final roadblock to having a relic, so most players unlock first Coil in the same sweep that they get their relic.

Relic and "next raid boss" are on separate but sometimes related quest tracks. No precedent shows that this will change.

i enjoyed NM hunting 100x more then i do with this atma hunting crap really, i still hope they bring back NMs tbh. but thats a whole different topic.
