Community Ignored about Atma?

Oh look another glass bowl (darn auto correct) who says it's ok guys... see I got mine. While everone else in this forum doesn't. .. making YOU the minority. Now either you are extremely luckly or your life just isn't as filled with other stuff taking up time... like family, friends, work, or outside. I agree.. I finally finally finished my Atma farm tonight when all was said and done I did a total of almost 600 fates to get them. I know others have farmed much more. I start by saying hang in there and just keep working towards it you will get them. I still hold firm the RNG system is broken and needs to be fixed. This is still just a random roll of the dice on if you get your atma. Also lore wise it does not make since.. I am going to infuse my uber weapon with lv 1 monsters souls??

i just got my fourth Atma! (Water-bearer) from a seasonal fate, so I agree with hotroderx, hang in there and keep at it, you'll get it eventually, it's a really good feeling after seeing that alert pop up on your screen after working for so long at it.

Also, I think it's more crystallizing the aether that's dispersed when killing the monsters into a physical form, rather than the monsters themselves per se, that's why we can't just get 12 of one kind, cuz they're all different aetherical affinities or some such

As of this morning, I'm now up to 6 atmas now, I'm starting to see the light at the end of this tunnel

I dunno, I must be made of a different cloth from most people here, I have a whopping... 1 atma, and I've been doing this since release of this patch. I'm not fussed or bothered or angry about the RNG, I just deal with it and when I'm bored after doing 4 hours of FATEs, I go do something else. I'm not sure how this is so hard for people to swallow.

Do you ever help anyone or is it all about you getting the best gear as fast as possible? You sound petty. Stop whining. Quit if you do not like it or just go do something else. No one is forcing you to do anything. I decided to Devote a lot of time to this and get what was needed. No one is saying you have to. It is your choice. Stop expecting everything to be handed to you. God damned "everyone gets a trophy generation" does not understand time and hard work. Nor do they accept RNG for what it is.

One person can finish in one day of grinding fates and the other might never get it if he put in 40 hours a week for a year. That's the screwed part. It's not commitment or patience or skill - it's luck. And not everyone is lucky.

I mean, se might as well sell raffle tickets.

The rng isn't that bad. I'll admit I only have one atma (I got it soloing a few random fates in North shroud as I ran by on my way to do other things). But if you really grind the fates then you'll get your atma. 40 hours a week? Just do a few fates per day, or per week, and you can get yourself an atma stress free.

337 FATEs in Central Shroud so far and still no ATMA... not sure about your theory
