Community Ignored about Atma?

I just finished the Atma grinding myself, so I do wonder how it will change later.

Read the New live letter posted today. The New tier of weapon is being delay until the next patch in May. Says something on the lines of not a lot of people having the animus weapons. I wonder why lol. I find it annoying but I do nor spend a whole day farming ATMA. I tried that one and I only got one. I changed my tacti, I do then while waiting for duty finder or a pug group to befilled. Now I have seven.

The next tier for the relic weapons seem to be more grinding but now for specific items like we do with the myth tomes now.

Why is the community being ignored about the ATMA drop rates? There working as attended why not come out and say guys they work like we want? They just trying to sweep us under the rug? Whats going on? I getting Dajvu ... this is like Guildwars 2 All over again. There a reason I never buy another Arena.net product


up to 124 fates in North Shroud over 3 days no drop... getting extremely frustrated and tired.

The reason why we are ignored is, we'd still be playing after being ignored, so they don't bother anymore, all quit the game like back in 1.x, see if they still ignore

video game companys only listen when it is a point of lossing mass amounts of money other then that they really dont care just like any other corporation its all about the buck these forums are just a place for us to vent cause they really just dont care example new patch came out instead of handeling rmts and atma problems two of the biggest problems with the game atm there answer to atma was simple lets change what the atmas look like in your inventory wtf they really dont care they know we will complain and we will keep playing thats all they care about

ps i still wanna know what server yoshi plays on cause would love to go 1 day without 1 rmt bothering me and instances with no lag just food for thought

I know some of our players have been looking forward to the continuation of the Zodiac Weapons quests that I mentioned in the recent letter LIVE, but the release of these new quests has been postponed. Our reasoning for this decision is, in brief:

Many players still have yet to obtain an Animus weapon.
We would like to incorporate feedback regarding the difficulty of the Zodiac Weapon quests.
We are working to increase the number of locations where materials for the next upgrade can be obtained.

I apologize for the delay, but those of you looking to obtain the power of "Novus" will be able to do so in patch 2.28, scheduled to release in May.

so lets not do anything bout the drop rate so more players can get there atma let alone start working on there animus weapons lmao we just postpone the update with the same broken system

they acknowledge that many haven't completed it. its not for lack of trying. from my experience with it so far, and from checking around the interwebz, the system needs adjusting. 12 random drops with very low drop rates? thats a bit obsurd for something needed for "progression". i have farmed fates for hours...not a single one. nadda. zilch.
another problem is how fast you can grind fates is proportionate to how many people are grinding in your zone. most zones on coeurl seem absent of ANYONE doing fate grinding. it has made leveling subjobs a pain...and then this end game grind.
one thing that might improve it is let people fate grind for the item as a subclass. at least you are working towards something. a more powerful subclass. every time i go atma grind it feels like time wasted.
i am playing the catchup game. i need to be doing dungeons/raids for gear. that has a definite reward from doing them. praying to the RNG gods...that just feels a bit foolish.

More time spent grinding means longer subscription. I turned off my auto renew after reading the live letter. They have till my subscription runs out to make this fun again. I tried binge fating tried fating an hour a day. Unless I have nothing better to do i'm done fating. 8/12 and I consider that being lucky.

Yeah the design of atmas is broken.
Were they desperate to get players to be going back to fates?
EX Primal drops and be done with it, would of been a challenge as well but far more enjoyable
