    target's target, casting bar

    Im trying to figure something out here. You know when you have a player hard targeted, you can see the name of whatever that player has targeted as well? Well is there any way I can have the casting bar of that players target to also appear somewhere, like below their own name? This would be extremely useful when asked to silence with Selene, as Im a console player. Thanks!

    I use Focus Target, if I need to see a bosses' move, or something. Closest thing to what you're looking for, I think. Can still "hard target" the player.

    And, maybe I was just derping... but I seem to recall the default keybinding for Focus Target not working. Changed it to an unused button on the numpad, and that seemed to "fix" it. Assuming the problem wasn't me. >_>;

    What do you mean focus target? You mean by clicking on the person? If so, thats what I meant by hard targeting.

    They're separate things. I can set my Focus Target on Acheron to watch for Flare, but keep my "Hard target" on party members.

    Check the "Keybind" section under "System" in the menu. Should find the button combo you need to set it.

    When you set a focus target, a new UI element comes up with the name of that target, their health bar, and whatever casting bar they have. You can click this UI element or use a keybind to automatically switch targets to that focus target. It will remain until the target is gone, or until you change it. You can make any target a focus target, however it's currently a little buggy. The functionality is okay but sometimes when you teleport mid-dungeon (through whatever means in the dungeon), then you'll lose your focus target. The only thing you have to do is set it again, but it can be slightly annoying.

    I forget what the original keybind is to set a focus target. I set it to Shift + F, and have regular F as my keybind to switch to my focus target. With this combination, I can set and re set focuses easily, and I can quickly switch to my focus whenever I want. As a healer I focus the tank and so I can easily prioritize healing him. As a DPS I also focus the tank, so that I can hit F, then T (switch to focus target, then target the targets target. Makes things easier when tanks don't mark targets). As a tank I focus the healer, so I can keep tabs on them and try and protect them when it counts.

    I think Focus Target is set to Shift + F by default? If not, I'd change your keybindings in settings to whatever makes you most comfortable. Focus target adds whichever target you selected as your Focus Target as an additional health bar which is by default to the bottom right of your main target's health bar. This shows your Focus Target's casting bar as well, and is incredibly useful.

    Focus target is Alt + F by default, Shift + F is targeting your focus. What I do for Selene silences is use a macro /pac silence <f>. That causes Selene to silence your focus target without you having to switch targets, very handy.

    It is also a simple right-click, or "Square" on gamepad when you have selected the person....alongside all those other options like Emote, Send Tell, there will be Focus Target

    I play on console, and use gamepad, and I use Focus Target a fair bit when in those fights when you gotta see it coming!

    I've considered this, but what if she's in the middle of an Embrace?
