Questions about PS4 early access

From what I can tell there is no purchasable version the game on the PSN store via the PS4 right now. This brings up a couple questions for me as I have a PC account but I want to be able to play on my PS4. I have the hard copy on my PC and don't want one for the PS4 i just want the digital download. So here are my questions:

1. Is there a digital Download pre-order for ps4 somewhere? Or am I going to have to wait till Monday likely?
2. I know there is a PS3 copy of the game I could buy for much less then the PS4 version. What say I bought the PS3 version, could I technically upgrade it to PS4 even though i dont have a PS3?

2, You could do this, but from the description on the transfer service page, it sounds like you'll have to sign in on the PS3 at least once for it to take effect.

The digital download for the PS4 version is just using the same client that we used for the open beta last week, so as of right now there isn't a purchasable version on the PS Store that I saw anywhere. The early access was only for people who pre-ordered their hard copy of PS4 game, or for transfers. I'm really not sure if there is a PC to PS4 transfer option, but if there was you would lose your ability to play your account on PC.

Since the game doesn't actually release until the 14th, you will probably have to wait until then to buy any digital copy of it. Sorry!

I figured as much. I find it a bit weird that they wouldn't have a PS4 version to buy yet or pre-order yet on the PSN store.

I'm dealing with this exact scenario! And I'm stuck after purchasing with no PS3 to log into at least once. I'm on phone with PSN customer service rep right now trying to get a refund.

ok, its early acces, who gets early acces? ps3 players and pre-ordered ps4 copies, what can i do if i want to play on ps4? wait until monday when game officialy release or buy a ps3 copy then transfer to ps4 trough mogstation but yo do need a ps3 to do it i belive

1.) Pre-order from amazon right now. (you won't get billed until the game ships on the 14th)
2.) Amazon will immediately email you early access code. Follow instructions in email.
3.) Cancel amazon order.
5.) Buy the retail copy of the game on the 14th from wherever you'd like.

Like YamaGuy said, pre-order from anywhere (doesn't necessarily have to be Amazon) will give you a code to download the client onto the PS4 so you can play on early access weekend.
As a plus, pre-order exclusives, cait sith and mog cap, are back again. Won't be sure if they'll ever appear up again. You can probably sell that code on ebay if you don't want it for 20 USDs.

If you're really do not want the physical copy PS4, and want to save money by buying a cheaper version whether if it is digital PS4 or an PS3 copy to upgrade to PS4, then you'll have to wait to get access to the game on the official PS4 release date, April 14th.
