SE desperately want it to work. Maybe because its all "Instanced", where as an AH is not, its all in 1 big catalogue which might put strain on server and they've not figured out a solution. May be hard for them to Instance specific menus. Or portion of menus to different instances hence why we cant buy from the menu right now. It also explains why there is capped market wards because the server cant handle it any fuller. Ah be like an uncapped MW with 1 room.

They have only just got the "Restore Retainers position" working after server maint/failure but what if they had an AH and it crashed, and didnt restore items, where would they go? Thinking of it in a technical term as the items in Market Wards are bound to your retainers. But you dont go to an AH to setup a retainer.
