    battle song

What's your favorite battle song in ff14? And I mean a battle song that gets u all cranked/hyped up in the fight ?

To me I think (ultimate bane) battle song got everyone else beat in game. Ultimate bane battle song just gets me all hyped up I like to fight him just cause the music and of course to me bane is a fun fight, specially when ifrit is hiding in the flames doing his drive-bys.. lol good times..

It's hard to pick one. I don't know the name but the song that plays in those larger boss fates, like "the eyes have it," doesn't get old to me. Steel Reason and Broken Angel are also some of my favorites.

Ultima's theme song still has to be my favorite boss theme so far. The boss theme for the lesser Coil bosses like Caduceus/ADS/Trash Gauntlet is a nice up tempo song too. Just a bit burned out on it running Coil so much though :P

I'd have to agree that the beginning of the big boss fate music pumps me up. As far as bosses, Ultima is top of the list as well.

United we Stand from back in 1.0. There's also the original Nael van Darnus's theme with the latin(?) lyrics, got so disappointed when I heard the same theme during the fight with Gaius without the lyrics

Does the "End of an Era" song count? That would be my pick.

Twintania/Behemoth FATE music (don't know its name). Was in love the first time I got to Twintania.

So hard to pick one, so I'm going with a list of my favourites:

    Favourite new ARR battle themes:

Ultima - Masayoshi Soken (Ultima Weapon second stage)
The Maker's Ruin - Masayoshi Soken (Ultima Weapon first stage and Lahabrea's final battle theme)
Battle on the Big Bridge Reborn - Masayoshi Soken and Nobuo Uematsu (Gilgamesh's battle theme which should need no introduction ).
Brothers in Arms - Masayoshi Soken (the Guildhest theme)
Tenacity - Masayoshi Soken (the Battlecraft levequest theme)
Battle Theme 1.X - Masayoshi Soken and Nobuo Uematsu (the remix of FFII's Battle I)
Under the Weight - Masayoshi Soken (Titan's main theme)
The Land Breaks - Masayoshi Soken (The Coerthas variation of the normal battle theme)
Thunderer - Masayoshi Soken (the Behemoth FATE battle theme)
From Fear to Fortitude - Masayoshi Soken (the battle theme for the level 30 class quests and a few other story instanced battles)
Tumbling Down - Masayoshi Soken and Nobuo Uematsu (the remix of FFIII's Battle II that is used as Acheron's boss theme in the Crystal Tower)

Favourite 1.0 battle themes that have been reused in ARR:

Primal Judgement - Nobuo Uematsu (Ifrit's Primal battle theme)
Fallen Angel - Masayoshi Soken (Garuda's Primal battle theme)
Nemesis - Nobuo Uematsu (the standard final boss theme for most instanced dungeons)
Steel Reason - Nobuo Uematsu (the former Castrum Novum theme in 1.0, this is now the boss battle theme for Gaius's Tribuini)
Seven Jesters ~ Good King Moggle Mog the XII - Masayoshi Soken and Nobuo Uematsu (the boss battle theme for the eponymous moogle 'king', a spooky orchestral and vocal remix of Uematsu's moggle theme)
Without Shadow - Nobuo Uematsu (the Ascian theme, also used as the battle theme against the 'masked mage' early in the game)

Favourite 1.0 battle themes that sadly haven't returned:

The Forest's Pulse - Nobuo Uematsu (the original Black Shroud battle theme)
The Seventh Gate - Nobuo Uematsu (instanced 'overworld' battle theme)
Tempest - Nobuo Uematsu (Nael van Darnus's first stage battle theme, apparently it has returned for the Second Binding Coil of Bahamut, but I'm unable to confirm this.)

    Phew!
