Hatching-tide duration

Dear SE,

Not to complain too much. But I have to say: the duration of the hatching-tide event is really not thought through.
At least me - and I reckon several others - takes some days off during the beginning of the easter-week to get a whole week off, and also goes on holidays.

For my sake, I will be on hols from the end of this weekend until the evening 2nd day of easter (21st of April).
In other words, I will not be able to complete the entire event, as you are ending it during daytime 22nd of april (which is a normal working day again).

In my opinion - and also as you have solved other seasonal event - the event should be up a couple of days after the hols is over. In this case, you should have left it up until 23:59 GMT Wednesday 23rd of April or thereabouts.

Just my two cents, and really not a big issue, but a bit sad that I cannot complete an event due to being away for hols during a seasonal holiday.

So should they hold the Easter event, during Halloween? If you can't complete the event in the 2 weeks+ it's up, then I think you have no one to blame but yourself. If you're on vacation, you're on vacation. Enjoy it. Also, isn't there a Vendor now where you can buy Seasonal Event items or something anyways if you happen to miss them?

It lasts long enough, SE can't develop around your personal work schedule. Heck there's people who complain about missing the lightning event despite having TWO chances to do it and it lasting long enough to do so.

A-shock: Not saying until Halloween big difference to that and two days after the easter weekend is over.
And as they are releasing the event in 4 chapters spread over the time, you do not have 6 days for the last chapter, which will then be avaliable for the time people will be on hols if going away for the easter weekend.
And as I stated in the beginnning of my OP, it is not to complain too much, and this is also how they have solved other events - extending the durations for a couple of days after the hols is over.
