Aside from the nonsense responses I may get from this (not strictly intended for discussion, L2P, you're what's wrong with MY game, oy vey, etc.), I wanted to take this time... after being paired with Pharos on WHM for my duty roulette this morning, to thank all the stalwart healers that completed this beast pre-adjusting. I, myself, succeeded in putting down Siren as a healer only once prior to 2.2. That success being among many, MANY failures. I don't drop as soon as I find myself in that depressing tunnel, standing water chilling my ankles. I always do my best to learn from my mistakes and I'd wager I'm a fairly competent healer, if still a lesser geared one.

Point being is, I've run that particular dungeon as DPS with a multitude of healers, both SCH and WHM... All expressed mine own sentiments about it. Hatred. We all agreed it was doable as it was, but felt overwhelming at times. But the ones who stuck with it, and fewer in number still, the ones who sustained us through it; they all have my sincere gratitude.

Also: thanks go out to the development team. I always worry about 'nerf packs', and thus far I have seen little to convince me that those working behind the mechanics of this game aren't completely on top of things working for the best. The new Pharos, while none could argue against it being easier, was still challenging and engaging from Symond to Siren. I thoroughly enjoyed my experience with it, and those feelings were echoed by my roulette members, as well. So, thank you for doing what you do, developers and fellow healers alike.

Also also: Feel free to comment with how you find the new Pharos Sirius. I'd love to hear how others are taking to the changes and, more specifically, why.
