Except if you're any DPS class besides BLM or BRD good luck finding a myth farm party without using DF.If people would actually just use Party Finder instead of DF, this wouldn't be an issue. Honestly, the Party Finder these days list several Brayflox HM myth farms so I don't know why they have to inconvenience people in Duty Finder in the first place. I mean if you get a group in Party Finder, you can actually FARM it. Do a run, get myth, abandon duty with no penalty, wash rinse repeat. But if they join DF and get a party that's not doing that, they either have to eat the penalty for leaving or get kicked.
They can start their own party. Or, here's an idea, run it with people in your FC. It's silly to try and justify using Duty Finder when there are better options that are also faster and more efficient.
The problems are two:
First, is that even everyone knows how the dungeon setup is, people is still doing it and then whining on forums about it not being as their wish;
Second, is the use of DF as a place to make your farming, that is, again, the use of the wrong tool and again complaining on forum about the consequences.
Use PF. Problem solved.
This happened also to me in Pharos roulette, one DPS d/c, we didn't think it was on purpose. It took time to find another, he arrived when we had already wiped 3-man on Siren once. It seems it will be good to click "join party in progress", I usually don't
This would change the balance between dungeons that give myth and few or no soldiery and the new ones, roulettes, etc. The new dungeons would be clearly the best place to go: if you need soldiery, you get it, if not, 95 myth for the dungeon.
Myth would get too easy to obtain too, the gear progression altered if myth gear gets too easy to obtain relative to ilvl70 and 80, and animus upgrade would become much easier (that doesn't look to be wanted right now.)

When I join BL hard through DF capped, I ask if anyone is still uncapped for the week. If not, great, abandon after second boss. If yes, then I say "Okay," and run the dungeon, because it's five more minutes. I haven't queued as tank in this dungeon, even though my tank is capable of speed runs, and I can see how a person queued as tank could utilize DF frequently enough for time spent in the dungeon to be a factor in how quickly they can rack up myth, but I would argue that it's a pointless effort for any other class type. You're not going to queue fast enough in DF consecutively(maybe with the exception of early week), to negate the time lost waiting for queue by trying to run BL hard at breakneck speed with every random group of people you cast in with. No, it doesn't surprise me there are self interested players queued as tanks trying to exploit this dungeon, but I hope for a solution other than restructuring of the tomes distribution, because that would suck.
Hate to break it to some of you, but Duty Finder is not the magical place where any expectations come to life!
Duty Finder is actually the place where your brain melts into a puddle of WTF... That's because, on the one hand, you're Brayflox HM Healer still uses fluid aura every single pull, and on the other hand, your douche bag i99 lvl Paladin (who parses) still thinks he can use Duty Finder for speed runs. They're all the same to me.
P.S. This is not my main...
how you can report someone for harrassement, there is nothing written somewhere that you need to FINISH the dungeon, is there ?nothing forbids you to leave after the whatever boss you needed, or gear you wanted to receive, nothing forbids anyone to do this BUT integrity and education. Would you report someone for leaving ? there is no harrassement, and the reasons could be that he didnt feel he could make it or had to go or or or or.. filing a ticket for harrassement is a serious matter, that shouldnt be taken lightely I think people misuse it us alot.
Some dont care if they join a group and that they have a resposnability they are there for themselves and nothign else. Many like that, what can you do ? forget about them and move on. You earned some gils on the way, isnt a bad deal, you lost sometimes, but we lose so much more time already that one more or less isnt a big deal..
Two summoners finished Halatali normal mode, when healer and tank got their fix half way and left, it was hard but we made it, very rewarding and challenging indeed, still stupid to leave and drop your party members but people dont know you so they dont feel obligated.

The intent of the DF is to find a group and at least attempt to complete a dungeon. If a group of 3 ques and gets a random thats fine, however clicking the accept button on the DF prompt, is an agreement to attempt to finish a dungeon as intended. If after 2 bosses the group of three says we dont need the last boss only to as planned before hand, to vote abandon with the 3/4 vote. They have now canceled a dungeon for someone else while avoiding the lockout timer them selves.how you can report someone for harrassement, there is nothing written somewhere that you need to FINISH the dungeon, is there ?nothing forbids you to leave after the whatever boss you needed, or gear you wanted to receive, nothing forbids anyone to do this BUT integrity and education.

Regardless of other players job, they waited a time in que as well as the time in the dungeon and now have to que and wait again. If the person is a dps the time can be extensive. That is intentionally wasting the time of another player in a game that they have to pay to be in. That is harassment pure and simple and I for one will take the time to fill out a harassment form every time.
