Uh.. like.. everything in this game is a reference.
It would be easier to point things that weren't references. Guess I'm not against this thread, just be prepared to organize every quest, achievement, and npc phrase in the game.

Reference to the 1939 film Gone With the Wind directed by Victor Fleming.

FATE "V for Vinedetta"
Reference to the 2005 film V for Vendetta directed by James McTeigue.

Odd that you'd think of those as referencing their film adaptations rather than the originals.

Anyway, Biggs and Wedge are my favorites. They're a tribute that Final Fantasy has been using for a long time to reference the Star Wars characters of the same names.
