how do i keep my skills

i would like to know how do i keep my skills in hot bar 1 for my summoner and then equipped a fishing rod and not have them go away

Are you talking about having your smn skills on the hotbar while you are fisher?

Each class has its own hot bar 1. If you switch back to ACN they will be back. I think there is a setting in character configuration to set which bars you want to be class specific. I have bars 1-3 set to change with class.

Go to config and and under the sharings tab (iirc) tick the action bars to share.

As said above - if the specific cross / hotbar is not set as shared it will change ("empty") upon changing the class / job. And of courese they'll be all back when you change back to the original class.
