Downloading twice.

I just started playing the game not even a full day now. I went through everything without a hitch during my initial downloads, registering the game and etc. I played the game for a few hours through last night and into this morning. I gave the game a break for about 8-9 hours. And when I go to log into the game it's having me download the game all over again. I checked into my data on the playstation to see if there was any saved content from the game, and there was. I just am not understanding why I'm having to download this game twice in the same day. I need some advice, on what the problem could be.

I have played another PS3 based MMO DC Universe for years, and never had to download the entire game twice. So I'm a bit stumped as to what the problem may be and I'm hoping I can get some help.

From what I understand this is not an update because the update is due for tomorrow 4/9/14 in the next 3.5 hours, my time zone.
