Primal Armor (Suggestion!)

Hey everyone, I'm a concept artist for a game studio in Washington and long time player of FFXIV and XI. One thing I've always wanted and haven't seen yet is Primal based Armor.

Probably been suggested already, (Didn't find it though) it would be so amazing to have armor-sets inspired from the primals, even if it were purely glamour related. I suppose this might take a lot of design time away and would be low priority but I think it would be an excellent addition to the game. Sort of a Monster Hunter type feature. Maybe in the Ultra Extreme Supreme Modes~

here is a quick (crappy) idea I had on the subject for Garuda inspired armor. It was still a fun little lunch sketch.

That being said I love the weapons and really am excited to get my hands on the Leviathan ones!

Nice. Seems a little overboard for this game though, given how the majority of goods are fairly tame (weapons are more of an exception). Then again, the sketch seems similar to DRG AF, so maybe if they were to keep it somewhat dark in tone/color.

I totally forgot about Odin's armor. You're right! I was thinking this might be totally random but that makes me feel a little better about the suggestion haha.

Why not? I'd love to throw down in some ifrit armor! Think of vagrant themed armor styles in the future! I think this idea is awesome!

I want Ultima armor so I can vanity swap between Ifrit, Garuda and Titan at will.

All jokes aside, your concept art looks pretty cool! I would love to see primal-influenced armor!
