How long will pre-order code allow access

Back at the original release of FFXIV:ARR, people that had a pre-order code entered were allowed access to the game during early access, and for another 3 days or so after official release in order to allow more time for physical delivery of the full registration codes (and physical install discs).

I am wondering if SE will be doing the same sort of thing for PS4 users.

Pre-Order registration codes will allow access starting April 11. Official release is April 14. Will users be allowed to continue play for some time (maybe through April 16) while they wait for the delivery of their order (which will include the full registration codes)?

I would like to know this as well. I pre-ordered the collectors edition for the SE store and still haven't received my early access code. I read that it can arrive even the day of early access but the real concern I have is when I called the online store about the code, the customer service rep I spoke to said she's not even sure if I'll receive my copies before launch day. She said the order was sent to the warehouse for shipment on April 4th to be processed but it's showing it's on back order on her screen. The best part is I ordered 2 copies (for me and husband) on March 4th and it's JUST being processed and now on back order. I even asked about canceling the order but because it's in the process mode, it might not work and it will still be shipped :/

Early Access codes at launch back in August allowed you one week so I'd imagine you're good out until the 18th.

SE has posted an answer to my question. A Pre-Order code will allow access to the game until April 15, 2014 at 11:59pm PDT. That is 48 hours past official release time to allow time for physical delivery of full registration codes and getting them entered to PSN.

Thank You. I just read about it. I'm just hoping SE store emails me my early access code. I also hope they ship my game soon so I don't lose access to playing on Tuesday. I was told yesterday from Digital River that they are waiting for the game to arrive from SE and currently it is on back order until they receive stock. I was told that they are hoping to get them shipped to everyone no later then the release date. It would be fine if the early access code works until I receive the product key but I'm not banking on that. I'm not even sure if the 30 day time counts during the early access or starts when the product code is entered. Hoping it doesn't start till product code is entered. Would hate to lose game time waiting for them to ship the game.

The 30-day free access that you should get from your full registration code will start on the day you enter the full registration code to PSN and log in to your SE account and apply it to the FFXIV Service account. (Getting it applied to the service account is something for which you will be prompted to do the first time you log into your SE account from the PS4 after you enter the code to PSN.)

You may miss some play time if the physical delivery of the product does not happen until Wednesday or later, but you will still get the 30 days once it does show up. Your early access time does not count on the 30 days.
