    placing FF on a SSD

    hey just wondering how I would get FF on a SSD....i just got the kingston 16gb today and its installed onto another computer im going ot be putting the game on...now the drive is in there and it comes up on the computer but when i try to search for it to place it while i go to download the game its not there...is there a special way to do this or am i just not looking in the right place?

    Sorry, I'm a little confused; You are saying that the SSD shows up in your Windows Explorer, but not in the game installer?

    16GB? You'll be needing a larger drive...unless you meant 160GB.

    And what are you downloading...you run the installer off the disc...

    The game should fit. It's only around 10GB. But those small SSDs are usually very slow. If the installer can't find the drive (happens with SSDs that have no HDD emulation) just install it elsewhere and just move the game folder onto the SSD yourself.

    Also, be sure your SSD is installed properly. Did you adjust your bios settings to AHCI?

    This has nothing to do with wether he can see and use the SSD or not, though optimal setting is AHCI.
