I am currently trying to get my Archer to level 30. How does leveling my paladin or whm (war and sch already 50) help that cause? Or am I lumped into your single category of people? It's not being ignorant though is it ?
The reason the queues are so long is that there are too many DPS and not enough Tanks and Healers, so the optimal thing to do would be to try and even the odds.
I get that some people don't like playing other classes but if you are happy not to play those other classes then you should be happy to wait in line.

I duno ....
Learn to deal with it maybe, ask your FC or LS for help ?

I have all jobs unlocked and at 50, so if I can do it why can't you ?
Seeing as there are 9 jobs, the correct solution is 5 DPS, 2 tank, 2 healer parties. Even if everyone chose every job evenly (i.e. no more BLM than PLD) the fact that there are more DPS jobs to chose from than tanks and healers to choose from combines, it's not a really a player problem. In fact it would be better if they just removed one of the DPS roles, (such as MNK) and we would get even queue times given the scenario above.

And yet they are adding more DPS roles.Seeing as there are 9 jobs, the correct solution is 5 DPS, 2 tank, 2 healer parties. Actually, the "correction" would be to remove a tank spot, so there wouldn't be a shortage.Seeing as there are 9 jobs, the correct solution is 5 DPS, 2 tank, 2 healer parties. Hmm.. 5 dps roles 2 tanks, 2 healers
3 man parties: 2 dps, 1 healer -> healer shortage, ratio is 5:2
7 man parties: 4 dps, 1 tank, 2 healers -> healer shortage, ratio is 1:1 for H:T, 2:5 for HPS; secondarily DPS shortage ratio is 5:2 for DPS:T
Not sure where you learned your math.
