Izsha Azel

Izsha is from the starcraft universe. A creation by the leader of the zerg swarm, she houses all the memories, tactics and experience of the Queen of blades so that if anything happened to their leader, her essence would remain with the swarm.

Azel was a character from the Saturn game Panzer dragoon saga (best game evar!) A bio engineered humanoid female from an ancient age who could interface with an immensely powerful tower (very similar to to CT and doga twins actually in principle). She had a striking black/white appearance which is why my cat (usually) follows a black and white motif. Azel also rode a great dragon, Atolm. Guess what my choco companions name is!

So izsha is a new vessel containing memories and experiences of another (queen of blades), and azel a character from a civilization 10,000 years ago from a most beloved game of my childhood. So I like to think that Izsha Azel is something of an embodiment of all the memories and experiences of a long lost age in Azel (my childhood) recreated in another form (izsha) in ffxiv. The sentiment is cheesy, but whatever.

And I'm a big starcraft zerg fan and panzer dragoon saga is always in my top 3 games list, and the name flows rather well imo.

W'fharl Tia

Wanted to start on a fresh server (#EternalRegrets), so I took my 1.0 character's name, Fenral (not original, or so I've been told, but I didn't take it from anywhere either), and making it more Seeker-ish, according to the rules Fernehalwes defined in the Lore forum. Two syllables, gratuitous mostly-silent "h", with the clan letter that appealed the most to me at the time. Not a name that could come out of the random generator, but also not a name that sounds out-of-place in cutscenes. I want to tell Minfillia she can drop the first initial already, but she's too busy crying.

All of this is moot, though, because my FC, and the occasional random pug, just calls me "Waffle." Which works, too. I like waffles.

I thought it was badass and used it since. The irony about it...the Keld were a warrior people and I main as Warrior...didn't hit me til just now O_O

Bharash came from when I had to give my Dragonborn Fighter a last name it and it was the first name I thought sounded alright and since then it has stuck with me lol.

I looked at the french language for inspiration for the first name, as the hair/makeup is in that colour (and dyeing any outfit gear a shade of the colour too)...

Green vert (french) - 'reya' and 'zarran' were pretty much made up

I may do this for the mi'qote alt, in another colour
