I picked Kitty Softpaw because Kitty is a recurring catgirl character I've made for all manner of roleplaying games, both forum-based and tabletop, and I picked Softpaw for her surname simply because I liked the sound of it.

Draco my old nickname used to be draconis et draconian (latin for the unorthodox dragon) then become draco the dragon (and in some places draco the kitsune)
the Ixtar part of my name comes from the woman i love her last name being ixtar and because i suck at creating last names

it cames from way back when Schierke was just introduced on the berserk manga, so in fan translations they mostly used Silke or something close to that as her name, and i love her character and how "cute" Silke sounds so..
and Rin becuase apprently silke is a very common name.. so i wanted something else to complement it... so rin it was *took this Rin from azumanga daioh i think... Karirin and stuff..*

When I first heard of FFXI I wanted to play a BLM since I loved using the job in FFV. Being the lame kid I was, I was going to name my char Magus but it was taken... so I made Magis. When FFXIV came out I remade my character and rhymed the last name per lore reasons.

I also use Magos for other games like WoW.
