Animaz Ark!
Anima was my character name and past mmo and games likes pkm and skyrim I like it as it means soul, Ark is my artist online signature xD I want to gradually paint part of my journeys in Eorzea, so I can improve as a Artist and play as well my favorite game series. But currently I'm playing too much u_u

Mine comes from one game. Myria is taken from a certain deity from said game while Brood is a race she tries to annihilate.
Rama is an avatar of the Hindu god Vishnu. I wanted something short and memorable.
Shankara is taken from Adi Shankara, an Indian philosopher, and is also the name of Shiva's second line in FF Type-0.

So now that HW's been released, I figured I'd give a little bump to see what some of these cool new character names are about! :P

A lot of Captain Morgan was involved in my characters name.

Gladiator because I loved the whole theme and history behind it and my favorite title I've had many times on WoW. And Boocraft was a name I had on WoW for a long time. Now that I quit the game for good because of recent events and leveled this guy to 50 in less than a week. I have to say Boocraft is a fitting name since my friend told me it's like I'm booing WoW. Lol

I think it's been a while since I last have my name's meaning.
Both my first and last name are German words, Allein meaning alone, and Verloren meaning lost.
I chose it because I have a tendency to wander around in games aimlessly. My own character has her own reason for being called that, but 'aimless wandering with only meself company' is mine.

Mine dates back to the first Fable game in 2004. You play a nameless hero. At one point in the story, you find out that your character's mother was a champion named Scarlet Robe. On my second playthrough, I named my character after her; Crimson Blade. That name didn't fit, so I condensed it to "Crimblade".
When I made my account here I made a Roeg and noticed that they had a very unique naming method. I looked it up and translated "Crimblade" into "Rhotswerd" (Redsword was the closest match I could get). Syhrundsyn translates to "Son of Fearless Wave", which is something I picked just because it sounded cool, and my character is a Sea Wolf (I imagine my character's father was some sort of pirate or Viking type).
