My character's first name is from one of the character names that I use frequently for MMOs, but was then altered to fit the Miqo'te lore. I can't exactly remember how I came up with the last name, but I think I just borrowed it from the in-game name generator. xD

FF8 fan and I liked the idea of the different Bahamuts (Normal, Neo, ZERO) in FF7. Thus, Neo Griever. Plus "Neo" is an easy short name for me to go by in parties and the FC.

Umalduwais: a mythical creature from my culture, technically a djinn. She is an incredibly sexy woman who dress up in fancy clothes and jewels, and wears tons of perfume. She seduces men, who follow her to secluded alleys, and only then they notice she has scythes for hands and donkey feet. Its too late, she slaughters them and feeds on them.

Bulsalasel: Another djinn name lol. A massive djinn who is all wrapped in chains and drags one which he uses to get his victims.

Edit: Just wanted to say I main WHM so people who know the lore of my name find it ironic that a healer is named after two vicious creatures

Kunyaa was my first character in XI and a DRG that I later abandoned (long story)...also a Random Name Generator name. liked them both so carried them with me to various MMOs, Used them both in XIV.

My character's first name is the playable character from Yume Nikki, one of my favorite games. I used her name in FFXI for my Elvaan female as well, and I've grown very fond of having the name.

The word "Madotsuki" means "window" (as in a box or envelope) or "aperture".

It is similar to the colloquial Japanese term for 'windower', a person who spends a long time looking out the window; that is, a daydreamer.

As for the last name, it was one I created with the assistance of my best friend. Tried my best to think of a somewhat 'lordly' last name that would fit my character's backstory of hailing from Coerthas (yes I am one of those losers who has created a backstory for their character).

My character's name was given birth by the name generator for tarutarus in ffxi. And he has a backstory too '-' His surname I took from P3.

At first i was going to do inuyasha. then i decided i wanted something more original, as i was seeing anime names left and right back in september. looked up the name for angel in japanese, looked up the word for black, looked up the original sankrit meaning of yasha, and decided it sounded cool.

For a long time I was the only one in the whole game, across all servers, who had the name kuroyasha, then all of a sudden i see 3 pop up -.- lol I still like my name though. if we could change it i'd probably redo it into Tenshi Kuro
