When player auto-follow another player, he often gets stuck to terrain, grass, rock... etc, and he will lose track. This should be fixed before PS3, thank you för sending it further.

Greetings Synthesis!
The thread was moved over from In-Game Bugs to General Discussion. Auto-follow does tend to come to an end when there's objects in the way so I know it can be a bit inconvenient. Any suggestions or feedback can be left in this section. Thank you for posting!
I didn't know you could follow someone. Unless you hit lock-on then the auto run button?
ExactlyIn XI there was even a command like /follow where it did these things for you (though it was still just quicker to hit the lock on and auto run keys)
I agree i wouldn't be comfortable leaving auto follow on someone for even a few minutes of afk as you will likely due to lag end up going off into some hostile mob.
the auto follow system we have now suck

I don't think it's that much of a problem. Usually, I let the person know I'm about to follow them before hand and then they make sure to avoid trees and rocks.
But half of the fun of the auto-follow system is deliberately trying to get people stuck on terrain!
I always viewed auto-follow as a tool for the chronic AFKers, SP leecher and multi-boxers. Why make it easier for them with a better auto-follow?
Incase you wanna get a can of pepsi out of the fridge and don't want to waste your parties time by stop walking with them to wherever you are going.
I'd suggest that when auto-follow is set to a person, you follow the exact path they take, rather than just running towards them.
Amen. It needs to force you through objects if the person you're following is gaining distance from you.
