9 Zodiac books of what stats ?

But, what stats do you think we will be able to choose from for our Zodiac weapon once we get more books ?

We can only get 4 books now, but it will eventually be 9. If that's 9 different stats, that doesn't match with the stats available...

As a Dragoon I have the books for STR, VIT, ACC, Crit. Then add DET and SS... That's 6, so what's the 3 other stats ?

The 3 other books might be something entirely different, but I'm bored and wanted to hear your opinions on it So please let my hear your speculations.

We can do more than 4 books. What you read was a mistranslation.

You can do 3 str, 3 vit, 2 acc, and 1 crit+ book for DRG (You can only do one book at a time, but completing these now will grant you your animus.

If you go into the book shop, you will see what all 9 books are. 3 for STR, 2 for VIT, 2 for ACC, 2 for Crit. (this is an assumption as I am not at the window at the moment)

When the npc said there are only 4 books initially, it means 4 lines of books, so skyfire I and II count as one line of books.

Wondering if you can get access to the other books, or proceed with the quest at all, if you dun do all current 9.

You all are misunderstanding me or what the NPC says....

The NPC says that there is a total of 9 books in the set, but only 4 can be bought right now. I know that means you can get 4 different types of books, and a total of 9 books....

Eventually you will be able to get 9 different types of books.

This is why I wondered what stats you will be able to get later on, cause you can only choose STR, VIT, ACC and Crit (DRG) right now, and there is only SS and DET left that DRG uses, so what are the other 3 books going to give ?

It basically means you only have access to the first 4 initially. So fire, wind, fall & earth books 1. The other 5 are fire/wind/fall/earth books 2/3. So 9 books total, but you can only choose the 4 at the start, the 5th when you complete one and so on.

Starting to realize I've just been an idiot...

This line is confusing me though: "A set is comprised of nine books, of which only four are available for exchange at first."

When I read that, I understand it as there are 9 books to choose from, each giving one different stat (So one line in other words. Fire I, Fire II etc...), but only 4 of those books(lines) are available right now.

I know understand that I'm probably wrong... It means that you can buy a total of 9 books, and there are 4 different kinds of books (lines) right now. More will be released later on, but we don't know how many.

I think that line is way too confusing....
