That's just plain cynical. When given time tables thus far Square has generally been right on the money, and when they haven't there was a good reason.

Patches are every three months: Delivered with a small reasonable delay at the beginning due to launch issues.
House devaluation every few weeks at the beginning of the year: Completely delivered.

When told certain things will happen at certain intervals they've been pretty up front, and accurate. Even personal housing looks to be in 2.3 and that was promised for 6 months after FC housing. Why so cynical?

It's called being sarcastic because that's how SE has been since starting up FFXI back in 2001 for the Japanese beta, so for all we know, "2 weeks" can translate to "anything." Remember Yoshi's "soon after E3" when we were waiting for ARR info? It is funny how people will jump to SE's defense even when someone is being sarcastic.
