Quiet Storm is recruiting any and all who wish to join, emphasizing those just getting started in endgame who are tired of dealing with Party Finder groups. We are currently focused on clearing Binding Coil Turn 5 and all EX Primals, and we need more active players to round out our static groups. There's no interview process. If you want an invite, you've got one. This is the laid back fun FC you've been looking for to get your feet wet in endgame without wallowing through the sewers of Party Finder and douchey FCs that call themselves "hardcore". Even if you aren't into endgame stuff, we can be your social FC as well. We're awesome, and you can be awesome with us.

We are a Rank 8 Free Company with about 40 active members ranging through all forms of casual to hardcore. We have a Mumble server, and a Guildwork website (URL above). We also just finished construction of our Free Company house (The Goblet, Ward 5 Plot 6 -- Stop by and check it out!). We are primarily a North American LS (all time zones, most active starting in the late afternoon Eastern time through midnight Pacific). We even have a Google+ hangout so we can chat with each other outside of the game!

We're Quiet Storm, began as a linkshell on FFXI's Ragnarok server in 2004. We aren't as big and famous as other Free Companies, but we've been around longer than most of them.

One thing I'll make clear right off the bat. Many of us have demanding work schedules, and not a whole lot of time to play. If you're someone who insists on having several hours of events scheduled every day, this is not the place for you. We have events and stuff, but attendance is not mandatory. The game conforms to our schedules, we don't conform to the game.

I only have a few rules of conduct for our FC:

1. No drama - I have zero tolerance for this. We're the Quiet Storm Free Company, not the Piss & Moan Club.

2. No censorship - We're adults. We know how to be respectful to each other. However, we say what we want, when we want, and to who we want. If you're easily offended by words, this isn't the place for you. We're friends before we're FC members, and sometimes friends make fun of each other.

3. No begging - If you want help, ask for it. If we can help you, we will. If we can't, deal with it. Trust me, we're all very nice people, and we like to help others whenever we can.

4. While attendance to events is never mandatory, please exercise common courtesy and let people know reasonably in advance if you are not going to be attending an upcoming event that you have previously committed to.

We welcome everyone who wants to join, and especially welcome any non-legacy players. We super-especially welcome any female players, because I love women (don't worry--you won't be the only girl).
