    Fade to White

    I have no idea what to do with this plot line quest. ALL THE WALKTHROUGHS ARE CONFUSING.

    Has anybody done this that could tell me what to do next? I think it's right after I got my traveling companion, the walk through I read said my NPC linkpearl should light up after I zone... but nothing happened.

    LOL I am stuck on the same part, though I haven't actually searched for an answer. I just chose my companion. There are no active quests in my journal.

    Is that the one where you have to walk through the main door into the adventurers guild in Ul'dah? I remember having to walk in and out of the doorway a few times to get it to activate the pearl.

    Yes you should just need to walk into the adventurers guild and it should light up like Christmas.
