Questions about PS4 Final Fantasy launcher.

I was wondering about the launcher that we had to download to play the PS4 beta of the game, do you delete it or can we use it for when the game goes live ?

I also want to know the process to upgrade from PS3 to PS4. I checked out the Lodestone site and this is all I could quickly find.

The upgrade campaign will be offered from April 11, 2014 until December 31, 2014.

So its possible we will find out more information on Friday.

I'm new to the forums so I apologize if this question has already been answered somewhere else. I have been looking for some detailed information on the difference between the upgrade campaign from PS3 to PS4 versus the transferring of PS3 save data? On the page regarding the upgrade it says that participation in the upgrade is not required to transfer PS3 save data (link here: http://na.finalfantasyxiv.com/lodest...e/ps4/upgrade/).
This seems vague to me and since I don't see any real way of contacting Square Enix with respect to it, perhaps someone here could clarify that for me. I'd like to know the following:
1. If I am not able to get a PS4 before the free upgrade campaign deadline, will I be able to upgrade afterwards by paying a fee?
2. If I buy a PS4 version of FFXIV on disc, can I then use the transfer save data function to continue my PS3 game on PS4 with my original characters and with all their items, gear and accomplishments in tact?

After the campaign end you have to buy the PS4 version to add the PS4 registry key to your account instead of changing the PS3 registry code to a PS4 registry code

The transfer save data function only mean the save data files on the PS3, like configuration setting, skillbars, macros. Characters, items and accomplishments are saved server side.

They transfer over. You won't be able to use your PS3 to play unless you buy the PS3 version again.
