PS3 -> PS4 Early Activation Details

I have a couple questions regarding both the "Early Access" and the "free copy" since I already own the ps3 version.

1st off, allow me to apologize if this is answered elsewhere. I have been looking on this site among others for an answer before posting, so if there's a thread, feel free to link to it.

Secondly, the actual questions. As far as early access goes, how would I go about getting that? I have already transferred my character from PS3 to PS4 during beta (even though I know it doesn't officially kick over until the 11th), so do I need to do anything else? Will I use the second beta client launcher in order to play the early access? (Found this to be the case) Do I need a code of some sort? Where do I find said code?

My friend does not have a PS3 account, but I got him interested in it during the beta and he's going to get it. Does some place like Gamestop just give you an EA code or should he order it off SE or some other site like Amazon? Just curious about this one.

And as for the actual game after the 14th and EA is over, how will I need to go about getting a free copy of the game? Once again, is there going to be a code I need to put in? If so, where will I find said code? How do I go about obtaining one?
