How many CPUs is your computer running? Can you check your CPU performance when in-game?

Last night, I updated the onboard graphics driver, Intel HD 4600, and played for a couple hours thinking everything was fine. I log in today, and it again immediately crashes right after hitting play and nothing I do will appease it.

So, I'm not running anything in performance mode, it's not overheating at all and the GPU is fine. I couldn't say what my CPU performance is in-game, because I'm not able to get into the game at all, it crashes immediately after hitting 'play' on the launcher.

I dont have any problems with Game Crashing or Lagg

    Here are some tips:
Run Windows updates (I'm not referring the start menu store updates)
Ensure you have all updates installed from your PC's Manufacturer
Don't use the PC for anything other than gaming, I have a separate PC for everyone else to use, and a separate PC just for work. (Work, Home, & Play don't usually mix now has tangible meaning)
Lets skip the techie fixes and jump strait to what the PC manufacturer will get you to do: Perform a fresh installation of windows and reinstall all drivers. Install your game and if you still have problems, just replace your PC with a different model because after all it is a new PC. There could be many other reasons for your problem like faulty hardware, but the safest move it to select a different PC model to eliminate possibilities like hardware compatibility due to manufacturer OEM drivers.
