This is somewhat addressed to the devs, but I'm curious as to how many others have noticed the complete lack of attention paid to one aspect of gear models: clipping.

I get that avoiding clipping entirely would require more resources than it's worth, and might not be possible with the graphics engine in play. That said, at the very least, gear and clothing should be designed in a way so as to not obviously force clipping 100% of the time.

For instance, when Leathercrafting with the top-end weapon prior to 2.2 (I haven't gotten the new one yet), one's leg sticks through the table, at least as a female Mi'toque. Through. The. Table. It's not a little, either - it's the entire leg. Similar problems exist with, say, the Weathered Daystar Robe. The tail flickers in and out of it constantly whenever I move. Again, occasional clipping is to be expected and ignored - but when it's something that we see so frequently (crafting tables, or your character's rear end due to the game's third-person perspective), it's not nearly as easy to forget about.

Could there please be some attention paid to future equipment models, so as to avoid egregious cases of clipping that will affect 100% of the people who use them, on certain races at least?
